RIP Cy Twombly

New Yorker Cy Twomly, one of the greate abstract artists of the past sixty years, sadly passed away earlier this month.  His works will live on forever.

Twombly's work went on display as part of Twombly and Poussin: Arcadian Painters at the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London from June 29, 2011 less than a week before Twombly's Death. The show was built on a quote by Twombly stating that “I would’ve liked to have been Poussin, if I’d had a choice, in another time” and is the first time that his work was put in an exhibition with Poussin.

David Beckham for H&M

David Beckham is following his wife into fashion, having teamed up with H&M to launch a bodywear range for men!

"Over the past year, I've been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I'm extremely positive about what we have designed and produced," Beckham said. "The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward, I'm excited and looking forward to showcasing the range to H&M customers from February."

The collection, which will be the first of many in this long-term distribution partnership, will launch on February 2nd 2012 and is sure to be a success.

Drumming up Dellal!

Stripped down to lingerie by Bordelle and DKNY, Brazilian model Alice Dellal lets loose on her Premier drum kit in an exclusive edit of Matthew Donaldson's ground shaking new short. The heiress is known for championing the punk undercut and vamping for labels such as Agent Provocateur and Burberry, but she's also on percussion for female rock quartet Thrush Metal, which features fellow models Emma Chitty and Laura Fraser and socialite Isabella Ramsey. The film is the latest installment of stylist Aurelia Donaldson’s series for The Telegraph, which explores the off-duty talents of models. Dellal, who counts Mick Jagger and Mario Testino as godparents, indulged us in some preferential treatment.
